Aims & Scope
Acta Fakulty filozofické Západočeské
The journal accepts texts in English, Czech and Slovak. Although the journal prefers contributions in English, by publishing texts in a national language it allows to preserve and develop academic terminology, and thus deepen the communication among the disciplines of social sciences and humanities. Since its foundation in 2009, the journal has become an important platform for discussion within the Czech social sciences and humanities. Since 2015, the journal has been published not only in print (ISSN print 1802-0364) but also in electronic (ISSN on-line 2336-6346) form. Since 2019, the journal has been published exclusively electronically.
Open-Access & Charges
Acta is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user. According to the license (see below), users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful and non-commercial purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The journal does not have article processing nor article submission charges.
